How to enrol at a Philippine academy

Exactly what happens from your first message until you are back home — no surprises along the way.

  1. You send an enquiry

A short form: your goal, your rough level, the dates you have in mind and a starting budget. You get a reference number straight away — keep it.

  2. We call to understand your situation

A call or a chat about what the form cannot capture: do you want a full timetable or time to work? A single room or a shared one? A quiet city or a lively one? The answers can change the shortlist a lot.

  3. We shortlist specific academies

You get a short list, with the reason we picked each option and its main drawback. Every academy has a page on this site with its sources, and you can compare them side by side.

  4. You receive a written, dated quotation

It states the currency, what is and is not included, the government fees payable in the Philippines, and how long the quotation is valid. It is the only price we are bound by.

  5. You book your place

Once you approve, we book your start date with the academy. Places go early in peak season, and booking is what locks in your date and your price while the quotation is valid.

  6. We prepare the paperwork and the study permit

We collect what the academy requires and coordinate the Special Study Permit (SSP) with the Bureau of Immigration through the academy. Government fees are paid there and appear in your quotation.

  7. Travel arrangements

We advise on arrival dates that fit the course start, and notify the academy of your flight so pickup can be arranged where the academy offers it.

Booking flights and insurance is your call, and we help you choose what fits your start date.

  8. Arrival and the placement test

Typically on day one: a placement test, an orientation, and your room. Your timetable is built on the test result rather than on your own estimate.

  9. Follow-up during and after

You stay in touch with us throughout. If something goes wrong with housing, the timetable or any administrative matter, you speak to us in Arabic and we take it up with the academy.

How long does each step take?

It depends on the academy, the travel season and how complete your documents are.

So we give you the expected timing for your own case in the quotation, and tell you straight away if it changes.
